Colin Bowers, MPP

Program Assistant

Colin Bowers, MPP is a Program Assistant with the Substance Use Response Guidance and Education (SURGE) Program, where he supports the coordination and implementation of educational programming for healthcare professionals. His work focuses on advancing knowledge and best practices related to substance use and community health while helping to strengthen connections across healthcare systems and community-based organizations.

Colin holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Lehigh University and dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science from The University of Scranton. His academic and professional experiences have equipped him with a strong foundation in research, policy analysis, and program support. 

He previously worked with Senator Robert Casey Jr., where he managed constituent communications and conducted research on legislative and international issues. Colin is passionate about public service and advocacy, with a particular focus on advancing equity for marginalized communities. He is committed to fostering inclusive policies and programs that address systemic disparities. His interests include public health, community development, and creating more accessible and responsible systems of care.
